ISSUES WITH LOST PURCHASES?

The lost purchases are caused by not being signed in to the Play Store with the same account that made the purchases. This issue often occurs when using multiple accounts. Unfortunately this is an issue with the Play Store itself that we cannot fix, but there are ways to recover your purchases by making sure you are using the correct account.

How to change accounts in play store

The lost purchases are caused by not being signed in to the Play Store with the same account that made the purchases. This issue often occurs when using multiple accounts. Unfortunately this is an issue with the Play Store itself that we cannot fix, but there are ways to recover your purchases by making sure you are using the correct account.

Please note that you might need to re-install the app with the correct account afterwards to make sure the change is properly recognized.


Another important note: The account shown at the top of the screen when you open the app is your Play Games account, which confusingly has no relation to the account signed into the Play Store. This means that even though you might see the correct Play Games account appear in the popup, you might still not be using the correct Play Store account.

1: Tap your account icon located near the top right part of the screen

2: Tap Switch Account and select the account you would like to use in the dropdown menu

Sometimes the Play Store will still automatically default to a different account when you open the app, regardless of the account you manually selected. In this scenario you might need to temporarily remove the alternative accounts from the Play Store and try again.

How to remove accounts from the Play Store

1: Go to the Switch Account dropdown menu as before and tap Manage accounts on this device

2: Tap on the account you would like to remove

3: Tap on Remove account

Note: This will remove the selected account from your device. You will have to add it back after confirming that you have access to your lost purchases
